You Can Use Coat Racks For Various Home Storage

Many coat racks have peg style hooks that are useful in storing additional rolls of bathroom tissue and other necessities. Hang a coat rack on the inside of a closet door and you will have a great place to store belts and ties. These hard to store items will be kept off the floor and in an easy place to find. For garage organization they can be very useful as well.

They make a great tool rack. Just attach s-hooks or loops of sturdy string to the tools and hang from wood or metal coat rack. Nail aprons and hammers also work very well hanging on coat racks. Do not forget gardening tools such as hoes, rakes and shovels that all hang easily from a wall mounted rack. Watch for used coat racks at yard and garage sales as this could be the perfect place to find your next storage item.

Having good wall coat racks helps to prevent a home from being cluttered with hats, coats and scarves. Coat trees are also good places to hang purses so that they can easily be found when you are ready to go. Homes with children will see coat racks with plenty of use. Coat trees not only prevent clutter, they provide a good place for outerwear to dry when not in use. Dry coats are warmer than wet ones. Coats that are hanging dry much quicker than those tossed in the corner or on a chair.

Over the door coat racks can be used in a bedroom for a person that has several coats. They are also useful in a bathroom for towels. One < will hold several towels in about the same space as a towel bar. Towels hung on a coat rack will dry and can be reused saving on water and electricity in the laundry. They are also ideal for holding bath robes.
