Winning With Free Horse Racing Systems

February 2, 2010 | Author: Admin | Filed under: Recreation and Sports

To the casual observer, horse racing often appears to be a game of complete chance; to them, each horse is identical, each jockey equal in talent, and the outcome totally random. But to the seasoned horse racing bettor, success in gambling is possible through study, evaluation, and careful strategy. Free horse racing systems are available to lessen the influence of chance and improve the odds of winning.

One extremely valuable free horse racing system is the use of jockey and trainer combinations. Using this combination will net wins on favorites and even long-shots. To utilize this system, look at the entry program for the day. The jockey/trainer win statistic, and their individual ranking at the track, will be given alongside each horse. Ideally, the jockey should be the regular jockey for the horse on that day. This is especially effective in evaluating long-shots. If a top-ranked jockey is on a long-shot, there is a definite reason. A jockey would never take a ride on a mount without a good chance of winning, because his reputation (and his own profits) are on the line. Similarly, this system is excellent in evaluating claiming races. If a top-ranked trainer claimed a long-shot and is now running the horse himself, it is very possible that the horse has improved greatly and is due for an impressive performance.

Another excellent free horse racing system is betting on, not the favorite, but the second-favorite. Often, the morning-line odds makers create a favorite by a slight margin, but then the gambling public pounces on the favorite, and soon the other horses have far less prohibitive odds. By betting on the second favorite, you have the same confidence that the horse and the connections are capable, but with a far greater payoff. Bettors often increase their chances of profit at the end of the day by putting a relatively small amount to win on the second choice, but larger sums are put on “to place” or “to show” bets. While these options pay less than a “to win” bet, they increase the odds of a payoff and diminish the risk of a complete loss.

Horse racing is far more than chance or random strikes of luck.  With the exception of Polytrack horse racing systems, many of the other angles can be found free on the web.  Dedicating only a few minutes to studying a racing program can have great effects on the day’s profits. By effectively implementing free horse racing systems into your gambling strategy, bettors can minimize the potential losses, and maximize their returns.
