What is a Sack Trolley?

A sack trolley, is sometimes referred to as a hand truck, sack truck, or trolley, depending on what part of the world you are in.  It is basically a pushcart, that is used to transport large heavy boxes or sacks for short distances.  It is manually operated and is easy to maneuver.  Sack trolleys have an L-shaped metal frame, which can be rotated.  Once it has been loaded, it can then be lifted onto it’s wheels, allowing the load to be easily moved and steered.  There is a vertical pushing or steering handle that gives it easy maneuverability.

In general, a sack trolley is made with an aluminum or steel frame.  The more heavy duty the sack truck, the thicker the frame, and the more weight it can endure.  They usually have two to four rubber wheels, depending on the size of the model.  The wheels are made from pneumatic rubber, and are made to roll easily over an uneven surface.

The most widely used type of sack trolley is the folding hand truck.  This version folds down, allowing it to be easily stored when it is not being used.  Some of the more advanced models also have four wheels, and when folded down it can be used as a push cart.  This kind of sack truck is also referred to as a 3 in 1 sack trolley.

Stairways are no longer a problem when it comes to moving heavy items.  These push carts have now been designed to transport heavy items directly up stairways.  This unique design has a built-in level on its side, which rotates multiple wheels over every step, while maintaining a level lift.

These useful tools have been proven to be extremely important in the work place.  They have created a way to move a large amount of heavy items in just one trip, making jobs easier and less strenuous.  Most importantly, it has decreased the number of accidents and injuries on the job and has saved many companies money and time.
