Value in Fake Security Cameras

It may be hard to believe, but a very affordable and effective tool you may want to consider using to help protect your home and family is nothing more than a fake security camera.  In difficult economic times, you need to protect your valuables more than ever, because more than ever, there are those people out there who will be willing to do just about anything to put some money in their pocket.  We’ll take a look at why this simple, inexpensive solution could be right for you in this article.

First of all, you need to realize that this ‘residential security system’ isn’t a real security system at all.  While it might work as a deterrent (and can actually work quite well in this situation), the reality is it will not actually signal you if anyone actually does try to break into your home.  Also, it will not provide you with any information to help you prosecute a burglar the way a real home security camera might be able to do.

Have you ever been driving down the road, not really paying attention to your speed, and all of a sudden you see a police car parked on the side of the road?  What happens?  Your heart skips a beat, you quickly check your speed and even if you’re going just a little fast, you slow down, right?  But do you know for sure whether there is an actual police officer inside the car, or if he or she is checking your speed?  No, you don’t.

Fake security cameras work the same way.  An opportunistic thief isn’t going to risk the possibility that the camera is real.  Instead, as soon as they see it, most likely they will simply move along and not stop at your house.  Burglary averted!
