Using Non Secured Loans to Pay for Emergencies

If you have poor credit and you are in desperate need for cash, non secured loans may be the solution you are looking for. Non secured loans allow you to take out anywhere from $500 – $10,000 without fronting any type of collateral. Depending upon the company you work with, you may be able to take out a larger non secured loan if your credit is good and you have a decent income.

Non secured loans can last anywhere from 1-5 years. They usually don’t last longer than 5 years unless you choose to refinance the loan in a couple of years. Unlike secured loans, the interest rate is higher because if you declare bankruptcy, the loan provider doesn’t have any type of collateral to come after.

Many people turn to non secured loans to pay for their credit card debt and medical expenses. The trick to finding a good non secured loan is working with multiple companies to find the best interest rate and loan terms. Never borrow more than you need as it will be harder to pay this money back, especially if you have money problems. Do yourself a favor and take this time to work on rebuilding your credit by cutting up your credit cards so you aren’t tempted to use them and think of your non secured loan as your last resort when looking for emergency cash.
