The Various Flat TV Wall Mounts

Space is always a crucial part of your living space as well as style. This is probably why you made the decision to upgrade to a flat screen Television. However it does seem a bit archaic that your beautiful new flat screen television is sitting on top of an old entertainment center from the 90′s, doesn’t it?

There is no reason to worry, you are probably just in need of a TV wall mount. A TV wall mount will help you to get the full effect of your flat screen while minimizing space used and increasing the overall elegance of your living room, bedroom or anywhere else you might have a flat screen TV!

There are several types of wall mounts available the first of which is the most basic, The flat wall mount. This wall mount does not offer some of the options and versatility of the other wall mounts however it still may be a great option for you! If you have a smaller space where the television is located this may be the best option for you. The flat screen TV wall mount is very secure and sturdy so you will have the security of knowing your TV mount is not going to let your television plop down on the ground! The flat wall mount is also cheap than some of the other options available.

The next option is the swiveling wall mount. This is a little more versatile than the previously mentioned flat wall mounts and will allow you to swivel the television to the left and the right. This is great for anybody with a large viewing area. Especially ideal if you have a multi peice sofa or several recliners in the same room and have many different viewing angles.

If you require more versatility there is the articulating wall mount. This TV mount will allow you to swivel your television to the left and right and additionally you can move it up and down which can change the viewing angle. Tilting the television up or down can reduce glare during certain times of the day or at certain viewing angles which makes the articulating mount the perfect TV mount if you have a very large viewing space, a lot of glare or just do not like being limited in options.

If you do not want a wall mount you can also find other TV mounts such as stands with an extended mount for flat screens or ceiling mounts. These are much harder to find, not as elegant and generally can be costlier than wall mounts.
