The Joy of Temporary Window Blinds When You’ve Just Moved House

Moving into a new home can be a difficult time for a number of reasons. The main reason being that you have to think of putting in window blinds, and perhaps you don’t want to buy anything in rush. The discomfort of sleeping in room without blinds is going to be awful. If you are on the street level then people looking into your property is going to be awful.

But don’t fear we still have the option of putting in some temporary window blinds. This is a good idea because they are cheap, they will reduce the light in the rooms, you can sleep in peace, they are easy to install as they are made of cardboard, and finally they come in many sizes. So, you are bound to find one that will fit your window. You can order the temporary blinds before you move in and once they arrive make sure you measure the windows and cut them and adjust to fit. The remove all the backing adhesive and stick the cardboard window blinds to the actual frame of the window.

You can buy temporary blinds online either as single blinds or several in a box which you can hold onto in case you ever move again and need the blinds again. The best thing about temporary window is that fact that whilst you decide what sort of blinds you want in your house, you can use these and they are so inexpensive. If you only have a few windows then you will need 1 or 2 blinds and that should not be more than ten dollars. A box of more than six may cost around 50 dollars but again think of the comfort zone and not having people prying into your house at night.It is better than nothing. Plus this will only last till you get your new blinds which is it is peak season may take anything up to 12 weeks.
