Survival Blogs That Are A Must Read For Beginners

March 2, 2010 | Author: Admin | Filed under: Recreation and Sports

If you’re just starting out prepping or you’ve thought that the current economic and political climate might be coming undone, and you think it might be wise to learn a few survivalist skills, then it’s time you sit down and read a good survival blog or two…or three! These blogs are full of information for the beginner as well as the advanced prepper. They aren’t full of Rambo Mambo B.S. that a lot of other survivalist blogs are. These blogs are geared toward real surviving a modern emergency.

The first blog I’d have you read is TheSurvivalistBlog.Net. M.D. is a guy who lives out in the boonies in a travel trailer. He bought the couple acres that he’s on and now blogs about living off grid and living within a budget. You’ll get a lot of down to earth information from this blog and you’ll see how easy it is to live debt free and away from the rat race.

The SurvivalBlog.Com is just the opposite of The Survivalist Blog. This blog is geared toward those who have to have the latest hi-tech equipment. You’ll see articles about buying huge amounts of land out West and stocking up on all types of expensive and top of the line weapons, as well as learning how to store food for long periods of time. The one thing I like about this blog is that he also lets others guest post. This creates a huge knowledge base there on the blog for others to learn from.

SurvivalPreparednessBlog.Com is a blog geared toward the beginner. This one may be your best bet if you interested in how to get started preparing for an emergency. You’ll find articles on alternative energy, preparing food for long term storage, the best survival gun for beginners as well of a host of other articles. This blog will keep you reading for a long time.

These three survival blogs are a must read if you’re serious about getting started in emergency preparedness.
