The Inglesina Swift, for example, a lightweight stroller designed for infants and toddlers up to 45 pounds, with umbrella fold and automatic locking when folded for easy traveling, lists for $119.99 but can be found for between $72 and $109.

If you want something sportier and a little plusher, the Inglesina Trip lists at $189.99 but can be found for as low as $169.99 and in three colors. Even the more top-of-the-line Inglesina Trip lists at $379 but can be found as low as $189 through some online retailers.

If you still prefer simplicity with comfort and convenience and have a few less dollars to spend, the Inglesina Espresso may be the stroller for your baby. Though it lists for $199, this model—lightweight with the now-classic four swiveling front wheels, plus a rain shield and leg cover—can be found for as low as $99 online.

Mostly, the Swift seems to have received mostly favorable customer reviews. One customer writing at an online retailer praised the stroller’s easier adjustment between reclining and upright seating, while another said it was ideal for short trips or public transportation, even if this same customer also said it was not always ideal for very long strolls or unpaved walkways or roads.

Some customers said of the Espresso that the seat is difficult to keep upright, forcing the baby into a reclining position whether he wants to be there or not. Others complained that, depending on the baby’s age, the leg cover does not always cover the baby’s legs or shade him from the sun. Still others complained that they found it just a little too much to carry down a subway or bus aisle in spite of the folding simplicity.
