Rejuvi Tattoo Removal Tips

February 18, 2010 | Author: Admin | Filed under: Health and Fitness,Skin Care

The use of rejuvi cream for removing tattoos is one of the few developments that have taken place in tattoo removal industry since the widespread adoption of laser tattoo as the most effective treatment. When laser tattoo removal came along, it displaced other techniques such as excision and dermabrasion, due to the increased safety of using lasers in conjunction with a reduction in common risks associated with tattoo removal, such as scars and other problems to the surface of the skin.

As mentioned, rejuvi tattoo removal is the only technique for getting rid of tattoos that’s come along since then that is on par with the safety and effectiveness of laser removal.

Here are some things to keep in mind if you are interested in pursuing rejuvi as a method for removing your tattoo.

1. It’s not a tattoo removal cream.
Because rejuvi is a cream, hence the term “rejuvi cream”, and it’s used for removing tattoos, this sometimes gets it confused with another class of removal products known as tattoo removal creams. However, tattoo removal creams, like Tattoo Off or Tat B Gone are very different. They are sold over the counter for a cheap price, and many doubt their effectiveness. It’s unclear how they work, and more to the point, if they work. Rejuvi has little in common with such cheap treatments.

2. It’s still expensive.
Unfortunately it’s not really any cheaper than laser tattoo removal. Rejuvi treatments are required repeatedly to remove a tattoo, with each session removing ink from one specific partitioned off area of the tattoo. These sessions may cost about $100 apiece, and it may take 10 of them to complete the process. Or it may take 5 or 15. It’s hard to say, as each tattoo is different. But the point is that it’s still going to cost a lot of money.

3. It’s going to take a while.

Each session must be spaced out so that the cream has time to work it’s magic – i.e. bond with the tattoo ink and then be repelled by the immune system – before the next treatment session begins. This can translate to a removal time line that extends from 6-12 months. It’s not a quick fix by any means. (Note this is basically the same as laser tattoo removal too.)

These three pointers shouldn’t scare you away from rejuvi! The method works, even though it’s expensive and takes awhile, but that’s actually a good thing considering all the methods that don’t work very well tend to be cheap and are marketed as a quick fix. If you’ve got a tattoo to remove, consider contacting a local rejuvi clinic to learn more about what they can offer you.
