When considering permanent hair removal, laser treatments continue to gain in popularity. These treatments provide a sharp reduction in the amount of facial hair present and they are not as painful as electrolysis. The hair removal is not permanent from the first session. For the most part, these treatments are extremely safe. The skin may appear pink and slightly irritated after a treatment, but that will disappear after a few days. The person performing the treatment should provide full information on keeping the skin in good condition before and after the procedure. As with any procedure involving the human body, you need to be aware of all risks. The person performing the procedure should be happy answer questions before you sit down. If they refuse to answer questions, walk away and find someone else.
