No Subscription DVR Works Great

Cable TV is more and more becoming obsolete as programs become increasingly available on the Internet.  It is hard to justify over $100 per month for a premium package when the same programming can be viewed FOR FREE from a variety of locations.  Millions of people have moved away from their premium movie channels in favor of movies that can be downloaded to their computer or even straight to the television off of the Internet for a subscription fee that is a mere fraction of what the cable companies charge.  And the beauty of it all is that you can watch what you want when you want to without all of the first-run reruns on your premium channels.  But what about the other stuff, like your local channels?

The DVTPal DVR is the ideal solution for recording your local television stations.  Everything you need to record live over-the-air (OTA) broadcasts in either standard or high definition comes complete with the unit out of the box.  No need for monthly subscription fees or connecting a phone line to it like the old TiVo setup.  You just hook up your antenna to your new OTA DVR for it to work and you are good to go.

Besides for getting the programming FOR FREE, the picture and sound quality are superior to the signal that is provided by the cable and satellite companies.  Ever since the digital conversion, there is no more snow.  Either you get the signal or you don’t.  And if you get the signal, you are getting it directly from the broadcaster in the purest form possible.  For those people that are still tied to their cable, the signal that they receive for their local stations are compressed by the cable company so that they can fit all of their other channels down the same cable.  What this means is that the QUALITY IS REDUCED by the cable company.  You are not getting the best high definition signal.
