It’s probably the most popular request of every healer and witch and shaman who’s ever hung a shingle or offered to lend their services to a friend. Love Spells that actually work – they are like the Mount Everest of spell casting. Everybody wants to get in on the act and say they can do it.

And why not? After all, we all want and need to be loved. It feels good to be able to love others – to be kind to them, share joy with them. It’s a natural part of being a human being. Why shouldn’t we use spells to help achieve that?

Good question. But keep in mind that a spell’s success or failure is deeply related to the intention of the woman or man who casts it. In other words, if you’re trying to beat loneliness for yourself or your client is trying to get back at an ex-lover, then your spell is going to be seriously compromised. Don’t do it! You might gain some temporary relief but find yourself in even worse straits a month down the road. Emotional pain could easily be doubled.

Take a breather when it comes to love spells. What’s your motivation? The secret to love spells that really work is simple but hard to grasp. It’s this: you’ve got to love yourself for who you are. Then and only then can you even begin to contemplate casting a love spell for yourself or anybody else.

It sounds silly, but don’t laugh too long. Think about it. If you want to have a life partner, shouldn’t you be sure that you are as healthy and centered as possible first? The thing is, whatever love and respect you can offer yourself is sure to find a counterpart out there in the world. All a love spell does is move that energy around a little. Do it quietly and surely and the results will follow.
