Innovative Conference Room Tables

July 2, 2010 | Author: Admin | Filed under: Business

While many companies still stand by the traditional wooden rectangular conference table, many companies and designers have chosen to represent their creative and innovative ideals in their office furniture. Designers are now creating conference tables in a number of interesting shapes such as bow tie, V-shaped, hexagonal, and shapes that represent the client company’s feature product. MotoArt produces an entire line of furniture that is constructed out of the pieces of many historic aircraft. One of their most famous creations is the C-130 Wing Flap V-Shaped Conference Table they built for Lockheed Martin. The table seats 24 people and consists of two outer wing flaps from a C-130 Hercules covered by a sheet of tempered glass. These types of pieces can be inspirational to the individuals sitting behind them and also are an excellent way to create a memorable experience for clients.

Visual appeal is not the only area of modern conference table design that manufacturers have been developing. Many companies offer a number of functional features that can enhance the effectiveness of your conference room. Power sockets, Internet hook-ups, and phone lines can be integrated into the superstructure of the table in order to prevent cables from laying all over the ground and presenting a safety risk. A projector and sound system can be built into the table if presentations are commonplace in your work environment. Impressive LCD screens or multi-touch panels can be laid into the surface of the table to create interactive presentations for clients. The number of custom furniture manufactures available across the United States makes the options available to you limited only by your imagination and of course your budget.

With so many options available it can be hard to know where to start. Luckily, we have created a hubpage help get you on track: Conference Table Selection.
