How VOIP Has Changed The Face of the Telephone Call

Do you remember the days of a telephone that had a dial round thing on it? You had to put your finger in a hole and turn it round all the numbers to make a phone call. This is a far cry from chatting directly from your laptop on Google Chat. I now login to my laptop and see who is online. And if there is anyone online that I wish to talk to I just click on their name and can start a video and voice call. How amazing is technology?

All that is needed is for the other person to be logged on at home in order to answer the call on their laptop.

This service has been in operation for 3 months and the number of users are increasing exponentially.
