How to Make Extra Money With Cleaning Jobs

Are you having problems with making ends meet? Is your salary not keeping up with the cost of inflation? This is the problem that many people face and yet are unwilling to leave their jobs due to the uncertainty of economic times. Some people have found odd jobs to help out financially and some have even found that these odd jobs are even more financially rewarding than their regular jobs.

An example is the house cleaning business. Believe it or not, it can be very lucrative if you work for yourself and not through an agency or a big cleaning company where they take the majority of the cut. You’d be better off striking it out on your own. After all, the cost of cleaning supplies are minimal. However, it is prudent to get insurance for your own peace of mind as well as your client. A background check wouldn’t hurt either.

What clients are looking for are trustworthy and hardworking individuals. If you display these traits then in turn, the clients will be loyal to you. After all, they don’t want to go through the trouble of finding another employee either – even if it will save them a few bucks on someone cheaper.

Having said that, the attrition rate for clients is very low. In fact, as word of mouth recommendations get around, you’ll be in high demand. These jobs are for you to take if you want. As stated, customers are loyal and your base of clients will grow very quickly. That is how by taking a few available cleaning jobs initially, a lot of part time workers trying to supplement their income can afford to go full time. After all, the work is steady depending on your clients requests of when they want you to come back – whether it’s weekly, biweekly or monthly.

As the saying goes, when one door closes, another door opens. If you’re willing to work for it, domestic cleaning jobs can be very lucrative work.
