Getting Inexpensive Wedding Table Decorations

April 21, 2010 | Author: Admin | Filed under: Uncategorized

There are many parts of a wedding and almost every part can cost a lot of money. When you add it all up, it can cost thousands of dollars. Some people even spend tens of thousands of dollars on weddings. If this seems totally outrageous to you, you can find ways to have an inexpensive yet still beautiful and wonderful wedding. One way is to get inexpensive wedding table decorations.

The first thing you can do to save money is to think simple. You’re wedding tables to not need to have piles and piles of stuff on them to look beautiful. In fact, the more stuff you have on them, the more cluttered and unattractive they look. There is no reason why you need one giant bouquet of flowers, a bunch of small vase of flowers, 10 or 15 candles, seven plates per guest, or whatever else you need to flood your tables with. Stick with one small bouquet and a candle or two. You can always use inexpensive things here and there, but remain simple for the most part.

Another way to get inexpensive wedding table decorations is to think cheap. Shop around to find the best price. If you have a lot of tables, think simple such as at wholesale stores or online at wholesale websites. You’d be surprised how much money you can save.  Shop around at different stores and compare the prices to wholesale to see.

Another idea is to go with silk flowers. Some people think this looks cheap and think they aren’t unique wedding table decoration ideas, but there are many silk flowers out now that look incredibly real. People will be astounded to find out that they were silk if they didn’t ask to begin with. You can also get flowers that you love and not have to worry about them going bad.

Finally, a great way to save money on wedding table decorations is to reuse. If you know someone that has had a wedding recently or a large gathering, ask them if they have any vases, votive candle holders, or other things that you can reuse. Of course, you won’t want to reuse flowers or half melted candles, but a few bucks here and there is a great way to save money.
