Get the Best LED TV

The best LED TV in production now is being manufactured by Samsung. Samsung has taken digital viewing to a higher level with the LED based DLP HDTV (Light Emitting Diode based Digital Light Processing High Definition TV). This range of LED TVs are differentiated by the contrast ratios they produce which is estimated to be 500,000:1 which means brighter colors and a distinct true black and eliminates any blurring of the images.

The LED TV uses an improved Digital Light Processing (DLP) Chip. The old DLP contains many microscopic mirrors that change states fast reflecting the light from a high power arc lamp as a light source through a spinning color wheel (comprising of the primary colors red green and blue) which results in clear and high quality images. Samsung has replaced the high power arc lamp with an LED light source and also the color wheel. In this regard it’s important to note that the arc lamp required costly replacement every few years). The Samsung LED DLP TV has very fast start up, improved color and higher color saturation and better NTSC color gamut to over 140% and low powering cost of the LED which do not need to be replaced unlike the arc lamps.

It is possible to obtain such clarity with the plasma but at a higher cost than the LED TV. Therefore, it may be deduced that the LED TVs are the future technology and plasma technology is fast becoming obsolete.

It is therefore said that Samsung has set the bar high with LED TVs  and it has done this by using the old technology and modifying it to produce a superior and efficient LED TV that gives better picture, color and contrast ratios.

LED TV technology is advancing and perhaps the Samsung LED TV technology may be surpassed by a newer technology from Samsung or another company such as Sony. But until such time Samsung has proved to be the best.
