Garden Clocks

Garden clocks often come with a type of meter either attached to the actual clock or as a matching separate item. The most come type of meter used is the thermometer to measure the outdoor temperature. This is useful because When you are working in your garden, if you want your plants to thrive, you need to be aware of the weather patterns so you can give your plants the optimum chance to live. A thermometer will give you the temperature at any given time of the day, plus it is a fun decorative item to add to your garden.

There are also barometers that sometimes come with your garden clock. This measures the humidity of your garden’s micro-climate, which is also helpful for the passionate gardener who wants to actively know what his or her gardening space is providing for the plants. If you know what the humidity is of your garden, you are able to know if you need to cut back watering your plants, or water them more if it is especially dry one day.

Garden thermometers and barometers are common additions to your garden clock. If they are attached to the clock, they are sometimes right underneath the time telling part or if the clock is double sided, one side will often tell the time while the the other side tells the temperature and/or humidity. You can also choose an outdoor clock that has a separate, matching thermometer or barometer if you do not want them attached for decorative reasons or if you want the devices in different areas of your garden. Prices can vary depending on what style of clock you choose or if you purchase the items separately. For instance, if you want to have an extravagant standing clock that is double sided with the time on one side and a thermometer on the other, it might be more expensive than if you purchase a hanging wall clock with a small thermometer and barometer towards the bottom of the clock.
