Fixing Damaged Repairable Cars
It has been said that one mans trash is another mans treasure, and this is very evident in a lot of trades, where someone with the proper skills can do things for them self’s that would be too expensive to have to hire it done. For instance if you were a skilled auto body repair person, you could do repair work on your own time that would be to expensive or to time consuming for the auto body shop that you work for to be able to do and still make a profit. Or maybe you just like to buy damaged cars for yourself to fix up and resell.
One place to pick up these damaged repairable cars is at a salvage car auction, here you will probably be bidding against either a used car dealer that is trying to pick up a car at a bargain price to resell but doesn’t want to have to put a lot into fixing it up, or you will be bidding against a junkyard owner who is looking at the good parts on the car that can be resold. Either way you will probably be looking at a bargain price for a car that can be repaired. Most of these auctions have a time, either a day or two before the auction or maybe just before it starts when the cars can be inspected.
So if you have these skills yourself or maybe you have a close friend that does and can help, it might make a good side line business to fix up and sell these cars, or maybe your just looking for a way to own a more expensive car at a bargain price and you are willing to put in the time and work to get it fixed up. No matter what you’re looking for a salvage car auction just might be the place to pick up a bargain
