Correct Way to Apply Foundation Makeup

Do you feel attracted by the modern makeup on TV or magazines? Of course yes! I know you have a question. Why can’t I apply my make up like that? You think your makeup is not good? In fact, the real fact can be your poor old foundation concept! Now, let us kick the old and outdated concept away and have your face looks the same as the celebrities!

I know you have your foundation! And I know you have only one color that best fit you, right! That is outdated! You should have one more darker color foundation. The darker color foundation can be applied onto your jawbone and cheek. This help you establish the three dimensional effect onto your face. Like any other celebrities, you can look so different! The tip is to first dot a little bit onto your jaw bone area. Then smudge out from the centre of the dot until you see the lighter and darker foundation mix well!

No concealer? That is outdated! I know many of you do not use concealer simply because it makes you a mottled face. Oh, come on! This can only be when you use it improperly as every professional uses concealer. Remember, you should use little by little until you cannot notice your imperfection. A darker color concealer (than your foundation) actually works better than the lighter one! If you have pimples, spots or dark circles, you better choose green, pink and yellow concealers instead of the natural ones. The colored concealer can fight specific imperfection very well!

Are you using sponge to apply foundation? That is outdated! Sponge is for the beginner. You should try to use brush. Brush can achieve a thinner and more natural foundation makeup for you. If you feel that the foundation does not look that good by applying with a brush. You can then use a sponge to gently press onto your face. But when you are familiar with using the brush, you do not need a sponge anymore!

Are you using powder or liquid foundation? That is outdated! You can try cream one! Many of the ladies do not like cream foundation as they do not like the texture. Some of them feel that their skin cannot breathe! In fact, cream foundation achieves the foundation transformation from cream to liquid and to powder. With correct amount of cream foundation, you can easily have a natural makeup!

Do you apply foundation on your whole face? That is outdated! For your daily life purpose, you do not need to apply foundation on your whole face. You can only apply foundation on the T zone areas to cover the large pore or other small imperfection. If you would like to apply for the whole face, you can apply thicker foundation on the T zone while thinner on the remaining areas.

Do you use under eye concealer? If not, most of the time you are thinking the under eye concealer can make your fine lines more visible! That is outdated! The high quality under eye concealers nowadays not only covers your fine lines. They are also very nourishing that they help reduce your fine lines! Remember to use it as with 1 fine line invisible, you can look much younger! False eyelashes or eyelash extensions are also good ideas to make your eyes look prettier.
