Buy a Sleigh Bedroom set

July 8, 2010 | Author: Admin | Filed under: Bedding

Why would someone purchase a whole sleigh bedroom set? Actually, why wouldn’t they? Apart from the price of some more extravagant and luxurious pieces they only have benefits once you can get them to your bedroom. They’re heavy too, but that helps a lot when it comes to build quality. The heavier the hardwood bed set is the more durable it is, which comes handy if you don’t sleep well. The bedroom is an important part of any home, and you owe yourself a good set of furniture.

When people buy their houses and start to make a home out of it the first thing they redesign is the kitchen. It’s the last thing they see in the morning and the first one when they get back from work. It’s a natural hub of people in the house. The bedroom fulfills a similar role, you spend at least six to eight hours in it every night, and it might as well have good pieces in it. You won’t watch the curved footboard during the night but a good bed with a good mattress sings and dances the difference in your sleep quality. If you’ve ever been insomniac, it must have been either because of the stress, or a bad bed. The latter can easily be fixed with a mahogany sleigh bed.

When you think about buying a whole set, don’t forget that the price will most probably be a bit harsher than one bed or the parts alone. The size of the bed greatly affects the price but you should never buy one that you don’t like or don’t fit. If you need king size, look around king size sleigh beds, anything else would be excruciatingly uncomfortable.

Don’t think about the weight when you’re trying to choose a design you like. You’re most probably only moving it once and even that can be done by paid contractors. Don’t skimp on the quality of build just because you don’t want to tote it. Don’t forget that these beds get more expensive with every feature added. A unique hand-carved curve in the headboard adds quite a bit and if the board is made of one block of wood it’s just as much an extra as leather seats in a sports car.

Sleigh bed sets can cost anything from $800 to $8,000 it’s only limited by your appetite for design and luxury. Don’t go overboard and you’re more likely to look at a friendly price that doesn’t break the budget.
