Clothes can be made a trademark it can be used to show who you are or at least who you are trying to be, it can be a way of expressing yourself, some use it to be unique or sometime to signify that they belong to a certain group, for example if you love to wear loose clothing with jewellery that are made from gold like necklace and grillz you will be identified as a pimp. It you have dreadlocks and like to wear clothes that contain the primary colour on the Jamaican flag you are a Rastafarian.

But how about if you’re wearing baja hoodies, does that signify that you are a hippie? Let’s try to find that out. Lets start by knowing what is a Baja hooded poncho, even though it is commonly know as drug rug its name Baja has purely nothing to do with hippies, Baja in Spanish is franela this is the material which this sweater is made of, so there you are this sweater is actually Mexican in origin, the reason it is called drug rug is because it really became so famous for hippies but originally there was a time when it was so popular to all you can see it worn by everyone, but since fashion always changes it was left out for the hippies who are die-hard fans of this sweater.

But people who are wearing the baja hoodie do not need to be a hippie. Today any one can wear it the public ahs already accepted this kind of clothing, you can see anyone that wear it is no really a hippie, and you’ll be able to notice this on winter season. This type of sweater is really in when winter comes because of it s designs and colors it is really stylish yet it still gives you the warm feeling in cold seasons. Everyone deserves one I guess; let’s not let hippies alone enjoy this sweater.
