All About Fender Amps
A legend in the industry, Fender Amps stand to be the biggest and most popular amplifiers up to today. Founder Leo Fender started the company in the mid 1950’s and started by creating electric guitars and there after went into producing quality guitar amps. Back in the day, guitar amplifiers were merely a variation of standard vacuum circuitry used in audio electronics. Fender redesigned the lay outs of these systems and came out with an amplifier specifically designed for an electric guitar.
Classic Fender Amps are known to be collectibles today. This is due to their glassy clean sound and responsive equalization. During the early days of Fender, no rival can compare with the sounds that their amplifiers can achieve. The Tweed model amps and 60’s Twin Reverbs haul a very high price in collector’s auctions. Re-issues of these models have been created with different aesthetics but similar circuitry. The company created products that are used as benchmarks for today’s sound. All of them try to replicate Fender but can only come close to the real thing.
Through the years almost every popular guitar player uses a Fender Amp. From fifties blues greats like Muddy Waters, to the legendary Beatles, the psychedelic sounds of Jimi Hendrix to the guitar players of today, these amps make their mark. The tag line of the company is very true. They claim that Fender is the only choice. It’s pretty much obvious, since almost every one owns a Fender. These amps transcend from generation to generation. The cool thing is that you can get these amps in all kinds of varieties. Everything from big tube stacks to small solid-state practice bedroom amps.
We al know that Fender makes tons of different guitars, basses, distortion guitar pedals and tons of other instruments and now you also know that they make amps as well.
