A Short History Of BC Rich Guitars

Established in 1969 by the deceased Bernando Chavez Rico, B.C. Rich has been known to manufacture different guitars and bass guitars across the United States. They became very popular to Americans because most of their guitars and bass guitars were handmade and are of the upmost quality.

One other cool thing is that they also allow their customers to design their own guitar. For people who are not into the design part, there are also manufactured handcrafted guitars that are ready to use and would most likely fit your guitar preference.

Currently, B.C. Rich guitars are mostly manufactured in Asia, and no member of the Rico family is engaged in the creation of the latest BC Rich Guitars. For 40 years of creating great electric guitars and bass guitars, it wouldn’t be surprising to know that many rock stars have used and are still using B.C. Rich Guitars.

In 2003, BC Rich Guitar used their own model of pickups called the Broad Dynamic Sonically Matched for the imported models instruments. The new pickup has better features than the old pickups created by factories. But in 2006, they started using Rockfield branded pickups.

Because BC Rich Guitar is celebrating its 40th anniversary, they thought of offering the Double Neck Bich. If you’re a big fan of their guitars you are definitely going to love this model. It has a body made of pure mahogany wood, has a neck through construction, with a bevel top style, and a Grover Super Rotomatic tuner. One neck has a standard six string structure while the other has 12 strings attached. This new product from B.C. Rich would definitely make you feel like a guitar superstar.

If you are looking into getting yourself a new guitar, you may just want to look into getting a BC Rich for your next instrument.  If this brand doesn’t suit you, perhaps a Yamaha electric guitar may be more for you.
